You will be covered for taking part in any Adventure/Hazardous Pursuit listed without extra charge, subject to any terms, conditions or restrictions stated alongside the activity and the terms, conditions and exclusions of the Membership. If you are going to take part in any activity which may be considered dangerous or Hazardous that is not detailed below please contact us to see if we can provide cover.

The lists detail the sports and activities that this Membership will cover. All sports and activities are subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions in this Membership Policy. You must also ensure that you are adequately supervised while undertaking the sport and/ or activity and that you are wearing the appropriate safety equipment at all times. If you do not do this, then we may not pay your claim. Certain restrictions apply to some sports and activities as set out below.

Cover for activities as listed under the various categories below are covered when participated in on a recreational and amateur basis only and not for competitions or any professional activity unless specifically agreed with ASKETI in writing.

We will not pay for claims arising directly or indirectly from:

  1. Professional sports or entertaining: Your participation in or practice of any professional sports or professional entertaining;

  2. Other sports or activities: Your participation in or practice of any other sport or activity, manual work, driving any motorised vehicle in motor rallies or competitions or racing unless:

    a) specified in the lists below or

    b) shown as covered in the Membership Certificate when the additional premium is paid to extend Membership cover for specified activities.

How to Amend, Extend, or Cancel Your Membership

Please contact membership@asketi.com where we can check your request in-line with your policy and make any changes available.

Amending or extending

Single Trip: If the trip start date on your policy has not yet passed, and you haven’t made and don’t intend to make a claim, then you can change the trip start date to align with your new travel plans. You can only move your trip start date to a date that is up to 12 months after the date you purchased your policy.  

Annual Multi-Trip: If the policy start date on your policy has not yet passed and you haven’t made or don’t intend to make a claim, then you can change your policy start date. You can only move this up to 30 days from your original policy purchase date.

You can amend the details or extend the policy (Single Trip only) by contacting us.

 Not using your policy means, for example, that:    

  • you haven’t travelled under your policy or started a trip; and  

  • you have not made a claim and do not intend to make a claim; and  

  • you are not exercising any other right under the policy.

Understanding what it means to cancel your Membership

If your reason for cancelling is an exceptional circumstance and you have not travelled, don’t plan on making a claim or exercising any other rights under your policy, you may be eligible for a partial refund. Remember, cancelling your policy means you won’t be eligible for any cover, and you won’t be able to make any claim under the policy. If you request and are granted a refund, your policy cannot be reinstated.   To request a refund or for assistance when claiming, please contact us. 

Mobile Apps

Mobile Apps are designed for operation on the current versions of Android and iOS operating systems. Availability of services is subject to your equipment compatibility, connectivity and signal in your location. There is no guarantee that all features and functionality will be available in your location. Use and availability of the Mobile Apps are subject to your service provider’s plan and may be subject to additional fees from your provider. The download and use of the Mobile App is subject to the terms of your Member Services Agreement and the applicable End User License Agreement (EULA).

Eligibility & Sanctions

Currently, Membership is not available to citizens of Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba & Belarus, who also reside within either Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba & Belarus. All Claims & Benefits payable are subject to a Sanctions Check.
